These pictures are from a recent photo shoot with Georgina, her son Noah and their gorgeous dog Dotted. The photographs were taken in the comfort of Georgina’s house using only natural light. A very photogenic family, I must say. We had lots of...
Dalai Lama Kildare, Ireland
posted by Jennifer Farley
We were lucky enough to get tickets to hear and see the Dalai Lama speak in St. Brigid’s Church in Kildare town last month. The Dalai Lama arrived in Kildare for a short ceremony and then walked up to the Cathedral, before arriving in the church. Needless to say it was an honour to be there. Below are a few members of Ireland’s tiny Tibetan community. I could be completely wrong but I think I read a statistic saying there were only 19 Tibetan’s living here. And finally, this little dog looks a little bemused about the fuss as people left the square in Kildare. (Had to get a dog photography in here somewhere :...

Went for a lovely walk on the pier in Dún Laoghaire on Sunday and met this bearded gent who was kind enough to let me snap a portrait. The weather was fantastic with a hazy blue sky. I used an orange filter on the picture below, hence the almost black sky behind the lighthouse at the end of...
The Waterboys

We had the pleasure of going to see Mike Scott and The Waterboys play in the Grand Canal theatre in Dublin last night. Myself and Jason both love the band and have been to see them loads of times. Last night’s gig was called An Appointment With Mr. Yeats and it was absolutely superb, with the poetry and writing of W.B. Yeats set to the band’s music. Mike is an amazing musician and performer and he and the band received several well deserved standing ovations. It is pure joy to watch Mike and Steve Wickham spar musically on the stage. If the band are coming to play anywhere near you, go and see them you will not...
If looks could kill …

… I would be dead. I met these two gents in outside Luxor in Egypt and the man with the camel was particularly grumpy. The man at the back doesn’t look too happy either, but they let me take their picture and for that I am very grateful.
Little Red Shoes ...

These petit little things belong to Grace Steenson who was very reluctant to show me her red shoes but eventually stuck one foot forward (think there is an Irish dancing career ahead of this little girl). Her dad, Dave on the other hand was quite happy to show off his great big plates of meat...
