We were lucky enough to get tickets to hear and see the Dalai Lama speak in St. Brigid’s Church in Kildare town last month. The Dalai Lama arrived in Kildare for a short ceremony and then walked up to the Cathedral, before arriving in the church. Needless to say it was an honour to be there. Below are a few members of Ireland’s tiny Tibetan community. I could be completely wrong but I think I read a statistic saying there were only 19 Tibetan’s living here.
