Yesterday I started the day on the beach in Kerry and the weather was so lovely we drove back over to end the day on the beach too. Think I may have partially burned my retina off while taking the picture above, so changed over to camera with smaller lens to get an overview of the scene below....

I’m staying in Listowel for a few days and the weather has been glorious to say the least. Two solid days of summer so far. Went over to nearby Ballybunion early this morning for a nice walk on a near deserted beach.

Now this picture has absolutely nothing to do with St. Patrick and it’s not taken in Downpatrick either, but it just felt like it could be related. It was taken near Crookhaven in Cork.
