This was taken late in the evening on the beach at Maspalomas in Gran Canaria. I always think the beach looks loveliest first thing in the morning or last thing in the evening before the sun goes down – usually when the number of people on it is sparse.

I don’t know did you intend it but from looking at the photos you could think that there wasn’t any sea/water nearby, espically with the monutains and ‘dessert’. It could be an art creation from Burning Man Festival.

Yeah, the sand dunes there are famous, they stretch for a long way back. It’s a very cool landscape and the light in the evening was really beautiful.
