Dalai Lama Kildare, Ireland
We were lucky enough to get tickets to hear and see the Dalai Lama speak in St. Brigid’s Church in Kildare town last month. The Dalai Lama arrived in Kildare for a short ceremony and then walked up to the Cathedral, before arriving in the church. Needless to say it was an honour to be there.
Below are a few members of Ireland’s tiny Tibetan community. I could be completely wrong but I think I read a statistic saying there were only 19 Tibetan’s living here.
And finally, this little dog looks a little bemused about the fuss as people left the square in Kildare. (Had to get a dog photography in here somewhere : )
