On this day in 460 A.D., Saint Patrick, Christian missionary, bishop & apostle of Ireland, died at Saul, Downpatrick, Ireland. Now this picture has absolutely nothing to do with St. Patrick and it’s not taken in Downpatrick either, but it just felt like it could be related. It was taken near Crookhaven in Cork.
