Chandelier, Olympia Theatre

Evening Falls, Khajjiar Northern India

This was taken from our hotel room in Khajjiar, a small town in the lap of the Himalayas. The statue at the bottom left is of Hanuman and it is absolutely HUGE. Peeking over the top of the clouds in the centre of the picture are the mighty peaks of the Himalayas.

Manfred

We met Manfred in Port Mogan in the Canaries last year. He was getting ready to move to a new destination by boat. He's a highly educated, interesting character who decided many years ago that he didn't want any belongings and gave up a normal 9-5 existence and everything he owned. Hounds Man

These pictures were taken last year at a re-enactment at Killua Castle, very close to our home. Lots of great opportunities to get pictures of men in tights and the like. I previously posted a photograph of the brewer.

Absolute Danny

These are a couple of photographs from Amsterdam. I've been to Amsterdam about five or six times now and absolutely love the place. Taxi Driver, Luxor

When we were in Egypt a few years ago, this man was outside our hotel every day with his taxi. We never actually used his service but we did say hello every day and when I asked if I could take his picture he seemed surprisingly pleased. A lot of people I ask react as if they would rather have →

Colourful Crab

Saw this little fella (and I say that like he was cute, I actually hate crabs) sitting on a rock sunning himself in Port Mogan in the Canaries. As I said I don't really like crabs but his colours were amazing. He looks like he's holding his claws up in preparation for a boxing match.

Christmas Morning, Clonmellon 2009

This was the lovely wintery scene we had from our kitchen window on Christmas morning. There was actually only a little bit of snow but there was such a heavy frost it made for a very pretty winter wonderland.
