This is one of our new bantams. Well we have them a few months now and got our first egg yesterday. Am very proud. *update* Well the cockeral himself didn’t win an award but I’m delighted to say that his picture (taken by moi) was the photo of the day on pix.ie last week. Made my day. I was taking pictures of the hens while my husband was holding up black material behind them as we followed them around the garden. I’m sure we used a couple of months worth of bird seed trying to get them to stand one by one an old wooden picnic bench.
